January 2020 - Happy New Year!

We begin the new year with the practice of mental awareness (noticing the thoughts swirling around in your mind) see if you can catch yourself being critical, blaming another for your circumstances, or having self-victimizing thoughts. Instead of reacting practice pausing (meditation below). Instead of ruminating on what someone else did wrong, express yourself by journaling what "it" is that has you so tangled up in tension; then ask yourself what you can do to create the change you’re seeking.  Remember:  we can not change others, we can only change our thoughts about others.
